Feedback from Pilot Flight Academy

Below is the feedback I received from the board at Pilot Flight Academy following my unsuccessful application. I hope this feedback motivates you to show resilience and keep pushing to prove yourself. Having worked in Medical Sales I’ve noticed Doctors and Nurses are almost always more keen to see those pharmaceutical representatives that are persistent, determined and innovative in their approach to set up appointments with them over representatives that try once and never again following a rejected visit. Adopting this approach has led me to see key influencers in the pharmaceutical sector that we were never able to do so before! So remember this next time you are faced with a pushback or obstacle in life. Never give up because you could be pushing on an open door!

The last line hit me poignantly – ‘you will seldom regret what you have done – more so what you did not try’. Despite having taken a different career approach I have always believed if I didn’t explore my childhood dream I will live with that regret of ‘what if’ at the age of 40. If this resonates with anyone else I will say to you – keep pushing until you achieve what you set out to achieve.
